Much better than the dark road series

The narrator does a consistently good job reading the characters.

I am enjoying the Durango chronicles, and I am glad that I didn’t give up when I finished the dark road series.

There is a lot of action, tension, and hope. There is still a bit of fluff inner dialog but it isn’t as pronounced as it was in the dark road series.
