I really wanted to love this book, but it fell short for me. There were too many unnecessary details and not enough focus on the elements that actually build a strong, compelling storyline. The pacing felt off, and the rebound relationship progressed far too quickly, making it hard to connect to the characters or believe the depth of their connection.
The spice was also overdone and ended up replacing emotional development rather than enhancing it. I was hoping for more substance, tension, and meaningful character growth, but instead the story felt rushed and underdeveloped.
Overall, the concept had potential, but the execution didn’t fully deliver for me.
