What a marvelous book! I absolutely loved it. Through her correspondence we learn about the life, the challenges, the sorrows, and the friendships of Sybil Van Antwerp. We also learn about her gardening, her career, and the books she has been reading. The Audible version uses multiple narrators for the various correspondents which helped identify the writers and hear them as unique characters. I also got the Kindle version so that I could highlight passages that I wanted to come back to.
