Book is done well as one would expect from Gregg Olsen….
Kevin Pierce is the absolute, second to none, true crime narrator; he is perfect.
The female narrator- holy crap, I thought I was listening to Siri. Robotic, computer-like cadence and tone – simply horrible.
I just don’t know what to say about this mismatch except it made me cringe to go from Mr. Pierce’s smooth perfectly emoted narrative to sudden bursts of this Rosie from the Jetsons mechanical resonance. (I’m old, get over it). That voice made you lose a bit of connection and sympathy for Susan Powell and actually is a disservice to her memory.
