Narration was off

For me I couldn’t get passed the narrator. I’m sure some people loved it. I actually got through the first book but couldn’t go on . Narration is always a matter of opinion and preference. No disrespect for Mr pierce it just seemed like there was no urgency. And the characters seemed like the new too much and narrator made it worse. I guess I suspected it to be more tragic.
