What a book this turned out to be! The heat, the range of emotions that comes from taking a huge chance when everything you cherish is at stake. Natalie and Rhett’s pull was so magnetic, no matter how hard they tried to avoid it. It was also great watching a “player” being tamed by a great woman. This grumpy sunshine, forbidden love, football romance is devious, delicious, hot and steamy, and I loved every single word. I devoured this book in a day…I didn’t want it to end.
Lu Banks & Tyler Donne do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality. They do more than giving their characters their voices, they fall into the roles and become the character.
