I liked the premise to this book, the story could have been interesting. unfortunately, The Narrative needed to be tightened up. we easily could have gone with one less hour…maybe more. most of the characters seem to be arguing all the time and one of the main characters seemed to be so completely clueless as to make you wonder if he could function in the world at all. there are many times when there is narrative where the characters simply don’t spit out what they’re trying to say, and instead walk around the entire topic in a nonsensical fashion which feels like it’s just trying to put in extra narrative where we would have preferred a more direct approach. on top of that, none of the narrators are my favorites, so that put a damper on it for me as well.
