Solid sci-fi yarn about the dangers of unfettered capitalism and lack of controls on AI. If you like farm boys rising to the occasion to fight back against oppression, this will probably work for you. If you want an MC who is thoughtful and well informed on the politics he finds himself thrust into, youaybnot like it as much. The protagonist is, frankly, a big ole dummy at the beginning of the story. He has a lot of catching up and growing up to do. But spoilers, he has a great arc in that regard. Great work as always by Travis Baltree as the narrator with bonus points for Jeff Hayes coming in to voice the worst character in the universe. Recommended.
