Siren in the Rain is a cute story based on the Cinderella premise. Main character, Shae, has been abused gets away and quickly meets the MEOW squad and in the same instance his fated mate. The story follows Shae and Girffin’s slow burn relationship, but it also focuses on the MEOW squad and the relationship they have with each other. It easy to get attached to them as well, but I enjoyed how the story focuses on Shae’s healing and his reluctance for a mate. This book felt a bit long and silly at certain moments, but overall a satisfying read! Joel Leslie as always does a fantastic job with his voice work especially when doing some of the accents in this world!
