The story pulls you in and doesn’t let go.

Entertaining, well written and intriguing twist on Vampires. Vampires in a parallel world. An fantastic interesting dark and dangerous world filled many great characters both good and bad. A world where most humans are slaves. There are the good vampires, monstrous vampires ,the league, crystal telepaths and more.

This story revolves manly around Lorenz and Afton. Lorenz, has to marry the child he of the woman he helped save. Afton, the half human, half vampire who was promised to Lorenz by her father.

Being the first book in the series and a really enjoyable, entertaing story I’m looking forward to the next book.

As usual David Brenin did a really good job with the narration.

This is my first Evelyn Lederman book, but it won’t be my last.
