Interesting character developments and introduction of new characters to keep the flow as well as plot progression. Overall great book and much more enticing and informative than the first book. Can’t wait for the conclusion in the 3rd book. Will be starting that soon. But I love how there is a subtle comparison of how Moriko and Ryuu develop their abilities in different ways by the encounters and battles they are forced to have on their travels.
