If you like his style of true crime, there’s no one like Jack Olsen. This is one of my favourite titles of his. At once touching and gruesomely compelling, he takes delicate subject matter and puts a very human face on a religious minority that it can be hard to relate to. Really interesting analysis of the tensions this case raised in the community, as well. This story stuck with me for weeks after reading it, and I admire his research and reporting so very much.
