Story seems mostly fine.
The theatrical bit gets worse as the series progresses playing background noise to “help immersion”. There’s a number of sections in this book I had to skip forward as the noises were so loud and distracting it frustrated me because I couldn’t focus on what was actually happening as the noise carried on for what seemed like an eternity. I really wish they’d put that on a second track that could be turned off because it really ruins the experience.
If you’re sensitive to that, probably skip this entry or read it.
