A pretty unexciting series. Writing is decent enough, but sometimes repetitive. Could definitely use a revision to incorporate “show, don’t tell”.
At times, it gives a feeling of “survivor-porn” with the overly specific name dropping of weapon and gear types, but fortunately manages to avoid (for the most part) the heavy political conservative biases that usually come with such a story.
