Don’t get me wrong, this is an enjoyable series. However, the writing is just not the best, especially in this one. So many things happen during the story that warrant more information, would benefit from explaining what the characters think about it, or seem to just be forgotten by the author a few paragraphs later. Considering how far along am I in the series, either this series is unfinished and I’ll just be disappointed, or it’ll start skipping even more things in the next 2 books. Anyways, apart from all that and the weird sexual tension stuff, the world is well thought out and interesting. The idea of exploring the different places in each book is also well done. Some characters (the main ones really) are pretty well defined but others just seem very generic and two dimensional. Some of the fights and ways to beat the boss can also be repetitive in the method. This volume felt more like prepping for the next ones and had more of the game aspects and less darkness than the previous ones. Worst ending so far though, main characters just seemed very stupid for not thinking about what would happen. Definitely made a LOT better by the credits! Whoever had that idea, that was great!
