I was super excited to listen to another book of his as I had really liked the Carl series. I will admit I get bored during the Carl series, usually during their quests and often space out. The thing that always brings me back is the character development and the witty banter. This book didn’t seem to have any of that for me. I was just bored and spaced out a lot. I really wanted to like it but I just didn’t. Was not a big fan of the narrator either. Wasn’t quite sure what he was going for.
