This author is really hit or miss with me. This book was frustrating. The tragic deaths of two young people erupted into a circus of insane behavior, sketchy prosecution, and abhorrent defense tactics. I wasn’t convinced that the convicted party was truly guilty – I kept wondering what I was missing. I think someone needed to be held accountable for such a horrendous act and they picked the biggest idiot and career criminal they could find. There was no motive. There was no physical evidence. Totally bizarre.
Kevin Pierce is wonderful as always. And I think the author did a good job of remaining neutral.
