So I almost didn’t finish this book, but I refuse to DNF a book. I’m glad I did. My biggest complaint was the voicing for Melina (Malina?) as I found it grating. In the first book, she didn’t speak too much so it was tolerable. I made it halfway before needing to take a pause before continuing. Eventually I got used to her voice.
That would be my biggest complaint. Otherwise, I enjoyed the story. The characterization of Chester is solid, especially seeing growth theme between them and Damon.
