I’m not a fan of the tone, the ending, and some of the jokes didn’t land with me. I really didn’t like the whole ai feet fetish thing, and the glurp glurp chants.
I have to say, the performance is excellent, and the character of Donut and Carl are excellent. They alone had me on the fence of whether I would like this series or not.
I feel that, if you enjoy this tone, then this story will be for you, because the author and voice actor nail it.
It’s done so well that I wish it was for me.
