For whatever reason I thought this was going to be a bit of a Sci-Fi story. It isn’t. I don’t have the interest to finish. I made it through book one and don’t care to go on. This isn’t a knock on the author, the book isn’t for me. The series deals with what would happen immediately after governmental and societal collapse following a solar flare that knocked out most electronics. I’m not interested in humans being assholes to other humans. We live that reality right now and just don’t care to have it in my entertainment and leisure time.
It took some getting used to the narrator and there are a lot of characters to keep track of. I couldn’t keep a track of all their names but I could keep track of the situation each group was in. I’m sure this is a fine read or listen for those that are interested in survival post the collapse of society.
