Couldn’t keep up with the constant descriptions, action sequences, and scene changes. The characters change so much and are in so many different places that I can’t visualize anything. If I completely focused on this book I might enjoy it, but it is not a casual read or even a very compelling story in my opinion. I feel like if I lose focus for a few pages then I’m completely lost. Also, Carl is the only likable character, and he is meh. Sorry, but I’ll probably quit this series and go back to some hard sci-fi
