What made the experience of listening to Lawton the most enjoyable?
I was nervous about hearing Lawton Rastor brought to audio life. He’s one of my favorite characters, and I had my own idea of how he should sound. (Whispering to ME, of course.) Boy, Connor is a winner. Loved hearing Lawton come to life. Now I can’t imagine any other voice.
What did you like best about this story?
I really liked how the narrator was able to capture so many nuances in so many characters. Not just the male voices, but even the female one. Bravo!
What does Connor Brown bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Connor did full justice to Chloe and Lawton, but he also made secondary characters really come to life. From quiet cynicism to breathy egotism, he nailed these personalities.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I wanted to, but life didn’t allow. Given my choice, definitely yes.

Only that I’m looking forward to the next installment.
