Same old regression story only with an MC who is consistently inconsistent. Well except for the obnoxious “Slips” where he calls others lads or youngins or randomly rubbing a grown adults had for no reason… because he’s old? After a certain point, it goes from quirky to annoying and forced. The MC is at times a young man then abruptly shifts to acting old. Sometimes the MC takes the moral high ground then other times it just slaughters. Feels like MC is a bipolar rollercoaster.
Overall, the book is alright. I read the reviews before purchasing this and found them to be over bloated.
