I was anti-audiobook until I found this series & I feel like Jeff plays as important a roll as the literature. I have no business spending almost $40/book on the audio version when I know I’m going to buy the physical books too. I love D&D & to hear an RPG brought to life has been the pinnacle of all of the nerdy time invested. I’m also a nurse & while I hate that Beatrice represents such a piece of shit, I have to acknowledge that we in healthcare make some sketchy decisions in our personal lives. I have done some sketchy things but hope to not be Beatrice ever, muchless if I ever get a role in a RPG! I do, however, have a sick sense of humor & an impressive potty mouth. If I ever get the opportunity to try to be as badass & altruistic as the certifiably crazy Carl, I hope I can make him proud, maybe with more clothes & shoes on though!
