Well, i definitely didn’t like the narrator. I did not like the way that she spoke There were weird pauses at times where it wasn’t called for it like in the middle of a sentence. I almost felt like she was reading to elementary schoolers. I thought initially that’s why I disliked the book, but it just highlighted how bad the book was. It seemed like the author was told here’s a set of things you need to have in this genre and she went down a list and checked them off. And I always get a little sick of the “ met once or twice and now we’re in love “with nothing that really leads up to it.
