Access to Power is just okay. Two things I enjoy are politics and mystery suspense books; even though this book has both it just fell short. .

In the middle of a political campaign Frank Miles, the main character, is a campaign consultant, believing you can win anything with attitude. He spins the truth, and cuts the opponents down to nothing and then the tables turn.

I had a hard time getting into this book. I didn’t feel like the characters weren’t very well developed nor very likable and I felt the intrigue was contrived.

Andrew Tell has a voice that is suited to the multiple characters in the story. He has an easy listening voice that I will look forward to hearing again.
