Action scenes are good. Overall story arc is good. And I like most of the characters. My problem is with the female lead, Laney. She is too whiny and makes too many stupid mistakes for me. But that is just a personal preference….I don’t like the damsel in distress arc. I find myself fast forwarding through large chunks of the story to skip the “poor pitiful me” sections. I will most likely not make it through this entire series. Other than that, I like the story.
