If this is going to be your 1st journey in the “Hayven Celestia” Universe, I would recommend the Trilogy “The Kanti Cycle” to ease you into the series 1st; Unless you are an Erotica regular…then by all means dive right in!
The book is mostly character development and progression of the overarching story of this Universe (it takes place after “White Flower II” by Rick Griffin), so it was an enjoyable listen that satisfied my love for this Series and hunger for learning everything about it. In the title, I claim it is one of the best this series has to offer, and at least, to me, it truly is, which has me conflicted as now when someone asks me what my favorite book is, I have to decide if I tell them it’s an Erotica…
There were around 5…very detailed sex scenes, some lasting for upwards of 20 minutes (on 1.0x). As I have not read any other Eroticas, I do not know if this normal or too little, or how forced the situations normally feel; But within the context of this Universe, each sex situation actually felt entirely natural, and something that could happen in any of the other books, which do also have sex, just not in this amount of excessive detail; The other books only have it last for a few sentences at most, mostly describing the affection rather than the act.
But if you are here for the sex, that too does not disappoint, just be prepared to leave wanting to listen to the rest of the series!
