The first boom is actually amazing, I loved the premise and it is actually amazing. Then the annoyance started a bit, how the main character describes people upon seeing them gets a little grating, and then by the end of the book any time he so much as glances at a woman there may as well be a full paragraph about her breasts, I could deal with it. it was bearable just tune it out. unfortunately the further into the series you get the worse it gets, to the point that by the end it’s “porn without plot” basically. if that’s the types of books you go for then hop into it, but having it go from a well written and well detailed super power book that after the first book I immediately bought the second was disappointing. it goes downhill into that territory at a pretty steady rate, it’s a harem book and a harem book only with definite “was written by a man” clichés. so first book, great, second book even with another narrator goes pretty good for a pretty dependable amount of time. it never gets better after that. you will want more of what there was, there is no more. save yourself the frustration if you’re not looking for a harem book.
