The most entertaining and awesome part of the story is how it starts and how the main characters David and Alan come together. Right from the start you can feel the sizzling chemistry between the protagonists. Then it’s the world building around them, David a human and Alan a fae who is cursed to live in the human world. The backdrop story about Alan’s past is also heartbreaking, but the two men and their banter is just wonderful. E. J. Russell’s this series start is truly fabulous. Joel Leslie is one absolutely awesome narrator to listen to and he has given more life and fun to this lovely book. Highly recommend!
