I recommend 1.2 speed, narration is laboroius after a while at normal speed. Interesting blend of mild dystopia, high school coming of age, progression fantasy, and AI what if. Character interaction was a bit weak in this first book, but supposedly gets better in later books. Progression feels a bit rushed once it gets going. The best part is the sense of peril and mystery surrounding a very unique power progression in a well developed game system.
