Impeccable narration, I got so much joy out of how Chester switches the way he talks all in one sentence. That’s actually the only reason I finished this book because the story itself was…lacking. It wasn’t bad, it was just meh. I thought it was weird how close some of the characters got for no reason really. They’re strangers and then suddenly they’re family without much to convince me how they got there. Chester did a lot of work making this book worth a listen. All in all a decent read, but I won’t be reading the sequel until I’m truly desperate for a litrpg fix.
