Matt Dinneman and Jeff Hays have created a masterpiece in this audio book. The story is science fiction, but with elements of fantasy included. The writing is compelling, funny, and keeps a great pace between action and exposition. I love this story so much I bought the hardcover, and intend to buy the rest of the series in hardcover too! As great as the writing is, Jeff Hays has to be one of the best voice actors I have listened to. He brings such life to each specific character that I still have a hard time believing that it’s all one guy. If your a fan of books like The Hitchhikers Guide, or if you’re a fan of RPGs, give this a try.
