The 8th floor. After briefly (and jeez it was brief) dipping our toes into what the 7th floor had to offer, Matt takes us directly to the 8th floor, and jeez, what a ride that was. Carl and Donut et. al. return for another gripping adventure as our favorite dynamic duo take on the most messed up and complex (and REALLY messed up) floor yet. From crabs… doing stuff, to what was probably the most traumatic thing to ever happen in a DCC book so far, this floor takes it all out of you. The Eye of the Bedlam Bride is NOT overstated for being a title, because jeez, what a doozy that turned out to be. Jeff Hays and Matt Dinniman bring us another excellent novel to listen to and enjoy, and the stakes only ever continue to get higher. Give this a listen and strap in, because it’s long and there’s a lot of ground to cover.
