At first, you can’t understand how going back-and-forth with letters would lead to a book that was both poignant and profound. But in a short order, you find that it does. The character development is so excellent. The way that the story is knit together through various episodes in the main character’s life leaves you at the edge of your seat. This book allows you to reflect on your own life where they have been secrets, regrets, tensions, inter family, misunderstandings, as well as discovery, friendship, excellence and joy. It’s a book I could listen to again. The narration is some of the best.
