I love all Aimee Nicole Walker books so I have to assume the reason I did t connect with these characters in the same way is the narrator. The tone was flat throughout and it was difficult to feel the actual emotions of the characters. I’m going to try re reading on my kindle to get a better experience with Chase and Gray.
