I really wanted to like these books because of how highly they were talked about on a reddit thread I came across. the narration is good in them. not amazing but not bad. the story is just boring though and just drags on and on going nowhere. the goofy puns are sometimes funny but mostly just annoying and pointless. it feels like the author is just writing the entire book for the puns and nothing else. if you enjoy it then that’s awesome but for me I found it to be annoying, slow and very boring.
