The Correspondent was a greatly satisfying novel because it touched on all ways life can be traumatic and painful for humanity Through letter writing , the author describes the agonizing events of her life and ultimately how these circumstances are resolved through honest admission to friends and family. There is a lot of love, understanding and forgiveness that heals the wounds and makes dying more peaceful
