Mmm, several other grid down survival series I would recommend before this one.

I’ve listened to almost all of these type series that are available in audio. This book was probably the most predictable one I’ve listened to. It was way to easy to figure out very early that Ryan was Holly & Cole’s son, as well as just events along the journey. But the most aggravating aspect is the amount of time spent on humanizing Buster the dog. OMG, I thought I was going to have to fast forward in some places when the author just went overboard on personalizing the thought process of the dang dog! While overall entertaining, not one of my favorites. Mainly listened because of Kevin.
