I was hoping to enjoy the book more than I did. Although the author did a fair job of character description and development, they were also stereotypical. The storyline was very predictable and I picked up the clues before the teenage sleuth in the book did. The whiny, simple dialogue made me think the book was a high school writing assignment. Besides being sophomoric, it was repetitious and the only reason I finished the book was to see if I was right – and I was.
