This was my first experience with JL Simpson’s work, and it was entertaining. Daisy Dunlop was training with her husband’s best friend to become a private investigator. When a case went awry, Daisy’s training took some wild turns. I enjoyed the crazy twists. The characters were diverting. I enjoyed the amusing incidents and snappy dialogue. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. Mary Phillips’ narration was good, and her performance enhanced my enjoyment of the story. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
