Definitely surprised with the storyline and subplots. It still was a bit predictable but I liked how the storyline kept the guesses changing often. Character development was really very good especially due to all the twists. I really enjoyed listening to this book.
Narration was also really good. McKenzie is written as such a strong character and it was genuinely conveyed thru the narration.
