This was a really amazing read. It is a funny witty romance/murder mystery. It has a great cast of characters, with Skylar Fox as the main protagonist. He has a BFF that is a Jewish female cop, and a gang of ex-hook up boyfriends who decided being friends with Fox was better than hooking up. There is a budding romance that is not fully realized in this book, but I believe will be prominent in sequels. There is a murder that Fox becomes involved in and he does some really stupid stuff that kind of stretches the boundaries of believability. But he is charming and engaging enough that it really doesn’t matter. I look forward to the next installment. It has great dialogue; that is what I loved the most. There is a lot of bantering between the characters, but there is a darker aspect of the story as well. The narrator is just off the charts fantastic; a true vocal actor. He really brings all these characters to life.
