This book needed a good editor. Apparently the writer dumped ever idea into the book. Each character was 80%, nothing fully formed. Listening to this was like a mental dodgeball session, only to be exacerbated by the annoying narration. It had promise but I list count of how many times as I needed to rewind to figure out what was actually said, and then again to attempt to understand the plot-hours I will never get back. Moving on to next in the series is questionable. I want my credit back just for the amount of work needed to get to the end -and oh yes surprise, no one even in the frame, not even an inkling how this aging, confused, unhappy detective came up with murderers identity.
