This is a spicy, quick listen with great characters, and enough plot to move the story along.
Imani i a strong female character with a high powered job who is on a work trip. There’s an evening mixer and everyone is bringing a date…expect Imani. Luckily for her, her friend’s husband has a brother in the area who can be her date. There’s a bunch of character development for such a short story with plenty of chemistry and spice!
The narrator is new to me and she does a wonderful job with all the voices and giving life to the characters created by the author! I listened at 1.2x speed.
