While I enjoyed this book, I also found myself emotional throughout and just heartbroken for Rosa. While Tiernan’s dirty talk was top tier, I really struggled to like him for how he was with Rosa. I’m not sure how she could love him with how he was towards her, regardless of his own struggles. Maybe it was because of how sweet and caring Rosa was, but I couldn’t get down with his degradation, despite enjoying it in other books. I still have mixed feelings for him even with how it all turned out. Colin and Shay were fantastic, honestly I would have been fine with her just being with those two. The audio narration was well done.
