I have to say the first few books were just alright and then since the Archon books it has continued to improve. The crew is becoming more cohesive as is the banter and camaraderie. This book focuses on the Phoenix itself and why everyone is after it all the time. It looks like we will be going through the backstories of all the crew in future books and I’m looking forward to it
