I’m always on the search for a new audiobook, and my criteria is witty conversation, decent plot, and a narrator I won’t hate. This book not only meets but exceeds all expectations. I never thought I would like LitRPG, but here I am, on my 4th listen through the entire series. Each book gets better, and even each listen through I pick up on new details. I am sure this is good in printed form, but Jeff Hays brings to life Matt’s characters in a way that will potentially ruin all other audio books for you. The combination is perfect, and I hope that you give it a try, even if you don’t think this is a genre you’d typically be interested in.
