I adore this author and was eager for Silas and Kai’s story but the push and pull between them got a little tiresome and the narrator for Kai was so wooden with no real inflection that I just couldn’t get into his chapters. Joel was great as always and their HEA was really good! On to book 3, glad Dan Caley is back.
