This was a silly crime podcast spoof but it was hard to tell if it was trying to be as silly/ridiculous as it was or if it was trying to be serious with a touch of humor. The narration was fairly awful and forced and the sound effects took me out of the sorry rather than immersing me in it. Not sure if I’d have enjoyed it more if it had been done as an actual book rather than an audio play. It was fairly predictable and super far fetched at times. Had to put it up to 1.7 speed to get past the awful “acting” but if you’re looking for a silly spoof of a crime podcast / tik tok frenzie this is a good bet.
